Is it easier to be confident around your own horse as you will know them well than at a stables where there are all different horses with different "personalities"?

- Yes--- all horses have their own personalities... one that you know well will "ride better" ( actually, one who knows, and likes, you...)
- if you have been with your horse for a while then yes but if you are a new team then it is possible to be more comfortable with other horses.
