Horses........?
Is it easier to be confident around your own horse as you will know them well than at a stables where there are all different horses with different "personalities"?

- well of coarse u should be confident around your own horse!!
- It depends. Sometimes it is easier to be confident around your own horse, once you have gotten to know him/her; but if you are keeping it at your own home and have no trainer or experienced people to help you, the exact opposite may happen. If the horse does anything that hurts you, frightens you, or confuses you, you have no way of getting past this, and you lose confidence. If you have the horse at a stable with other horsepeople there to help you, it is easier to be confident with your own animal, as you will have other people to help you. Riding a lot of different horses can be a confidence builder for some people, as they get to know that they can handle anything the various horses throw at them. Other people prefer the bond they can have with their own animal. They feel safer with a horse that they ride all the time, and who has no other riders messing up their training.
