Where are some good places to find horses for sale?

I might buy/lease a horse soon and I was wondering what sites or stables (in Colorado) sell/train horses ridden english.

1. If there is a racetrack in your area you could buy a retired horse.
2. I like dreamhorse.com and agdirect.com . Both allow you to narrow your search by state and other criteria.
3. www.petfinder.com has a lot of horses that were abandoned/resgued and are in need of a good home. It is a nationwide search engine.

7. Check out the closest rodeo or search horse stables in Colorado on the internet.

9. Try Horsetopia.com trhere are horse listed in every state or sometimes some for lease, you can pick what breed and training you want and your price range
10. Equine.com has a great series of listings for horses for sale, stallions at service, trailers for sale, and all of the equipment needed for a horse. They also cover every state, so I included the link to their Colorado page. It should have all of the local information you need. Good luck!
