what can i do to become a photographer? a professional one?
i was loking at some pictures of horses the other day, and it made me realise how much i love to take pictures. what do i have to do to become a photographer?

- If you are still in high school, now's your chance to get a leg-up on the competition. Take a summer photography course, if you can find one. If not, find some online tutorials or invest in a good photography manual. (Your artistic eye must be complimented by a strong technical understanding.) Keep shooting, refine your skills, begin building a strong portfolio. Start looking into colleges with good photography programs - the days of sneaking into a creative job without a degree are over. It will be challenging and competition will be fierce, so remember those horses and don't lose your passion.
