what should i wear for horse back riding?
It is for enduance riding, 50 mile, normally during lessons i wear a tucked in shirt and jeans, w/ a helmet and my hair pulled back. But for my endurance i wanna look professional, what about my hair? IT is bout 3 inches past shoulder length. What should i do with it?

- wear chaps
- shoes shirt and pants and hat
- -get a nice pair of tan breeches with stirruped straps at the bottom... -a nice polo shirt -a riding jacket -a crop -leather riding boots -ponytail This is what I basically wear in all my competitions! Good Luck! :]
- wear it in a french braid, low ponytail, bun or regular braid. I hope this helps!
- ummm.. lets see boots. and don't go with a slutty look go with something casual it's not looking professional that counts its how you feel while riding the horse. ya don't see people in suits riding a horse now do you.
- Okay, as an endurance rider myself I own a pair of black breeches which are super comfortable but not too hot and they don't look dirty so you always look good. Then go for a vest and a white shirt underneath and put your hair in a bun under your helmet. It's a simple, classy way to dress but it's comfortable and practical.
- Tan Breeches, A black or white shirt or sweater, black boots and a helmet.
- Hannah has it right, most important is make sure the clothing fits and is comfortable. Remember loose clothing is cooler than tight fitting and allows air to circulate keeping you comfortable as well. Pulling your hair back in a pony tail or braid will look great. Good luck and have fun!
- for endurance you don't need to look good, you just need to be comfortable... i wouldn't wear jeans because they might rub... jods and paddock boots and/or half chaps and wear tops in layers so you won't get overheated. as for your hair i'd either put it in a ponytail or put it up in your helmet with a hair net.. do whatever will make you feel more comfortable. good luck
- Breeches, good tall boots, and a polo or a long sleeve tee-shirt. Also, if you're smart, one of those protective vests. And, of course, your helmet! As for your hair, tuck it into your helmet if you can. If not, french braid it and roll it up to the base of your helmet. As long as it's not flapping around or in your face, you should be fine.
- Low bun, w/net and tan breeches w/black boots
- For your hair, if you want it to look good, put it in a ponytail, flip it up into your helmet, and put a hairnet over the top so your hair stays in order. Wear cool clothing, such as thin riding pants, (not jeans because they will rub your legs on long rides) half chaps, (just in case) and a long sleeved shirt, and sturdy riding boots (I reccommend the Ariat Springbuck Boots and Ariat All-Terrain Half Chaps: www.doversaddlery.com). Hope this helps! Remember, the key is to stay comfortable, not looking glamorous. gothorses
- In endurance, ANYTHING goes. You need freedom of movement but don't take it too far, a hot pink bellyshirt isn't going to win you any points! ;-) Honestly a T shirt and riding breeches will suffice. Do put your hair in a low bun. Doesn't have to be too neat. Good luck!
- If you want to be professional looking, its gonna be expensive. You'll need long breeches(any color), a long-sleeved coat with matching color to the breeches, a shirt inside your coat (i recommend white). Your boots are optional. Your hair, well, I think you should go with a ponytail. Also, remember to try on your clothes, you want to be able to have flexibility and movement.
- well, knee high boots would look best. kaki/tan breeches will make you look more professional. a polo shirt that matches your horses saddle pad and wraps will look very nice too. try french braiding your hair if it is aloud. if not, a low bun that fits just bellow your helmet will work.
- pony tail, helmet, jodphurs, get a nice show shirt :)
- Depends on the weather: Spring & Summer: - I prefer capries and a tee-shirt, maybe a sweatshirt. Capries because you dont be too hot, or too cold and your legs wont be able to rub like wearing shorts. Winter & Fall: Jeans, riding pants, riding jacket, or just a sweatshirt.. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET
- Get breches, thay are more comfortable than jeans, and look more profesional a "clean" shirt, not as just pulled out of the wash, but looks nice, but is comfortable, and with your hair, a pony tail is fine, but you can do a low bun or get a net clip, Dressage riders use them, they clip like a barrett at the base of your helamate, and have a small net you put your hair into, the barrett part can be really cute (mine has a mom and baby horse running) incase you were thinking about not, WEAR A HELMATE! Ask your trainer for recomendations too. Good luck!
- i'd say some warm jeans, or specialized riding pants. warm jacket, professional looking. put your hair in a low bun maybe and put it in one of those hair holders with the netting and the clip. that would look extremely professional. good luck and have fun! ohh and boots, thermal riding boots., those will work again have fun! -e!
- riding clothes silly. ha im not really into horses but i think breeches and a jacket. maybe pull your hair into a low bun?? haa im not the guy to answer horse/girl stuff. ask my sister. [-em!ly goofyhoof lol]
