how do you become a therapeutic riding instructor?
do you need any kind of college or special training? also what kind of pay do you get for it?

- We have therapeutic riding centres in our area. I would say to do some volunteer work with your local centres to start with. Our local organization is CARD. Also, you should look at your local riding associations. i don't think you need to go to college, you just need to be good with people and know how to teach. In canada we have different levels of instructors through the CEF. I don't think the pay is great, the only people in horse who are rich are professional riders and breeders who were rich to start with... but that's just my jaded opinion.
