I need to find a few different pictures of horses that have a scalloped braid in their mane. Any ideas?

I have a few but they are of poor quality. Thanks!!

  1. Try google images. type in different variations of what you need and search for images. other than that take a look through different horse websites. good luck

  3. google images work rather well
  4. The scalloped mane is a less common form of braiding, where the braids are not pulled up in half under itself, but rather pulled up under the braid that is two down from it (toward the withers). It is seen most often in hunt seat, dressage, or in the jumpers, although it is not as popular as the other forms of braid. It is useful for manes that may look bulky in traditional braiding syles because they are a bit too thick or a bit too long. There are some great images of plaits on this link:http://www.samfordequestriangroup.com/articles/plaiting.htm This book has descriptions of how to do a scallop braid:http://www.amazon.com/Grooming-Win-Prepare-Howell-Reference/dp/0876058926/ref=si3_rdr_bb_product/102-6557882-5831360
