I saw pictures of horses fleeing the California fires, does anyone know what happened to them?

They appear to be running back and forth to find a way out.

  1. I'm hoping that by some miracle, they got away and off to safety. However, I doubt it. But I'm still hoping anyway. Poor babies... :(
  2. I've spent several days here in the San Diego area helping people evacuate their horses. I've seen only a few that have been burned and they are getting looked in on by vets at the evacuation sites. There were still some horses that we couldn't get out and we are all hoping they are ok. We had a home owner yesterday in the line of the fire that had 30 horses and wouldn't let us evacuate them. I don't know what happened yet. Hope they all made it through safely though. It sure made me mad that they were offered help and wouldn't take it. If nothing else those poor horses were breathing in tons of smoke!
  3. A stampede of them just passed through the Arch. We had to evacuate the entire area. Please send help. St. Louis, MO
  4. they are safe.... don't worry. i bought 4 of them. their meat taste quite good u know....
  5. I've seen the footage you are talking about. From what I understand they were rounded up. There was also a herd of lamas that had to be rounded up and evacuated. I did hear about three Arabian horses that died in the fire. So sad. To the two idiots with their smart ass replies.... you obviously have never been thru something like this. I live in California and this situation is devastating. Many of those people (and animals) lost everything. It's not something to be joking about. I live near where the "Sawtooth fire" was last year and had to help friends evacuate it. It was frightening. Shame on you for making jokes. Karma will bite you someday.
