  1. my barn is $125 a month, but that's kind of cheap.
  2. Every place will range in price. Also according to if they are getting full care or part care. Turned out or stalled. It can range from $50.00 (Which is really rare) to $300.00 a month. Anywhere in between those estimates. You just need to find a place that is good and can actually provide what you need!
  3. it depends on location and "niceness" for lack of a better word the farm is. around where i live, for the typical boarding stable for just pasture board it will range anywhere from $250-$400, and stable board w/ turn out usually ranged from $300-$600. most boarding stables include feed as well as use of facilities. it depends on how nice the stable is, look up local boarding stables and call and get quotes and find the best one, go look at them and talk with the owner before making a decision.
  4. It really really varies depending on things like the area you live in and the features of the stable. If you are closer to a suburban or urban area it generally is higher than an area with more "farmy" land. Also a more "equipped" barn would cost more, i.e. one with indoor ring, wash stall, well known trainers, etc. You can pay anywhere from around $200-$700 monthly. Ask around your area or lookup nearby stables.
  5. it varies, but my old barn was $300 and my barn now is $375. that is kinda expensive, but they are both really nice and the 1st one was full care and the 2nd one only does full care.
  6. It is somewhere between 150(Rarely) or 500.00 but mine was 350.00 a month per horse which is average! We had 4horses there!
  7. $100-125
  8. it really depends on were you go and the facility and what all they provide! your best bet would be to go to your local tack shop and ask them they ussally will know
  9. It depends. If you go to a place with a barn and 1 turnout area, it is going to be incredibly cheap. Like $150-$200. If you go somewhere nice, the average prices are $400-$2000. My barn is $945 a month. But it is super nice and is only a year old! www.trailsend.biz
  10. I live in New England, and i know everything in more expensive here than in other parts of the country. It depends on the facility and if it is full board or half board. It also depends on where it is located. I know some places that charge $100.00 all it covers is the uses of the stall you have buy your own grain and hay and have to take care of the horse your self. Then on the other end of the price scale is $1200.00. I have see every thing between average around is probably some where around $600.00 for full board.
  11. dont listen to ppl tellling u under $150, unless its a cozy box on the side of the highway. mine is 400 a month, but its usually about 200 to 350. good luck!!
  12. my barn is 150$ but i kno of barns that are 250 and sum that are 175. if you go to a high end "equestrian centre" then chances are its going to be more expensive then a small stable. so prices differ greatly. just when your looking for a stable make sure its a place that is more concerned about your animals well being then the money they make out of it because your animals well being and hapiness is pricless. good luck :)
  13. Depending on where on the East Coast you're moving to, you may not want to listen to these people!! I'm a native New Englander and have worked about 5 or 6 barns. The lower-end barn I worked at charged $375, and it was not especially nice. Full board though. The average has been around $600 a month - one very nice but not fancy eventing barn I worked at was $850. If you're heading for New England, bet on around $500-600 for anything decent. The barns you find for anything less than that are usually questionable in terms of knowledgeable staff or policies. Believe me, I know how much that sucks - I've not been able to have a horse of my own because of the board!!
  14. Where I board in the Midwest, it is $350/month.
  15. READ THIS I PROMISE ITS NOT STUPID Well i dont really understand your question but i will try to answer it. (i dont know where you live) The average is $300.00 for a stall it can be as low as $100.00 for a paddock though. i reccomend borading at a $400.00 Stall or $300.00 they arepretty nice if you can afford it. ifyou can't... then i reccomend pasture board or paddock about $250.00.
  16. it depends on the stable crappy or a clean !!!
  17. There's too many variables here to give you a specific dollar amount. First off- where on the east coast are you moving? Which state? WHERE in that state? Also, are you looking for full board or pasture board or a co-op? Give us more info and we can give you specifics!
  18. Can say mine is a base rate of $225 and includes hay, grain ration, turn out and is 10 minutes out of a good sized city. Includes round pen use as they are available, and outdoor arena with 7am to 9pm hours. I raise rates for special care, and for correcting bad habits, or if a horse needs individual turn out. I lower the rate to $150 if someone wants to spend time helping with the chores. Other stables around me some with all the fancy gadgets, indoor climate controlled arenas, you know all the bells and whistles.. Start around $650 and top out around $1500. NEW stables with same facilities as mine typiclly hit around $350-$450 guess the new part really impresses some people, guess new stalls are somehow more impressive than aged ones (in perfect working order). 10 miles up the road a lady charges $125 per month 20 miles up the road charges $400. I cant really say there is a average price it seems the price varies widely even among almost identical facilities. I would recomend. 1. Asking for refrences and listening to word of mouth about stables 2. Never use a stable that doesnt require vaccination and keep records of vaccinations, negative coggins, wormer schedules. 3. visit the stable a few times and look at the horses there are they in good health, are they alert and happy, are the stalls clean, are the stalls well maintained No nails that have worked out, no broken boards, look for rat and mice droppings in excess. Fly control no excuse for a stable to be swarmed with clouds of flies, Vermin and insect control says alot about a facility , sure we all have rodents but ive seen some with piles of dropping and rats that were not even affraid of humans. The horse owners that use the low quality stables tend to be low quality horse owners otherwise their horses would be someplace else. 4. inspect the hay, pasture and grain if the owner gets defensive about this question why. Look for moldy hay, insect infested grain, is the pasture green and lush or sparse and yellow? Get the best you can afford!!! and keep in mind the most expensive is not a sure bet that its the best.
  19. ours is 50 a horse a month
  20. I live in Orlando Fl., and I pay about $200/mo for Partial Board. Some of the places I have checked into range from $200 -$700 and vary with what you want or need.
  21. My barn is $450/mos full board and $500 with a turn out field attached to the stall. Central FL show type barn. If you are looking for more of a trail riding type barn, than $200-350 in the area.
