  1. yaaah zippie chippie is for sale , she is a horse that ran over 120 with out a win
  2. It would be nice but I have never heard of a cheap horse unless it was not worth having.
  3. It's not always best to get a cheap horse. Are you looking for one for your kids, if so, then you don't want to go to cheap because they may be untamed and too hard to handle for your kids. But if you just want a cheap horse for yourself, then that's ok i guess. Usually if they are cheap, the are not broke yet or they are very old. Don't know where your from but they usually have horse sales all over. You could check in to adoption too. Just a thought.
  4. depends on what you want with it...cheap horses are a dime a dozen...if you just want one-try rescuing one from the slaughterhouse or one of the premarin farm mares. on a serious note-just cause you buy one cheap doesn't mean you can afford it. horses are a huge upkeep-minimally they need hay at all times (to keep from colicking which can be deadly to them) , worming every month, their hooves need to be trimmed every 3 months, safe enclosures with plenty of room, water, shelter from elements, and a vet check at least twice a year. (you should do it as often as necessary if you're a good owner). Vets normally charge just for coming out and then more for the services performed. The same with a ferrier...think about it hard before you decide.
  5. you should try looking at horse rescue or horse adoption sites. They do have some really good horses there. manly ones just for pleasure riding. but you can get horses cheap that way. just look up online for your closest adoption or rescue site. plus you'd be giving a good horse a second chance at life.
  6. you should just wait around where you live and keep an eye out. ask people i they know anyone with a horse for sale and what not and eventually you might find one. it worked for me. i got my horse for free and he is phenonamal! we placed second in the first gaming event we did. so just wait and keep looking and soon you'll find your horse. dont listen to the idiots that say you can't get a good horse for cheap. you can. you can get a great horse for cheap. just get the horse thats right for you. if its cheap great! if its not then that suks. but dont just go and say"oh its cheap so i'll take it!" get to know it a little. make sure its broken in and that its not too old. ask the owners for the exact age. have a vet check it before you take it home. you dont need to buy a horse that suks just because its cheap!
  7. You should try looking at horse rescue or horse adoption sites. Most of the horses there really good. Many horses are just for pleasure riding.
  8. if your not worried about how well trained your horse will be, there is a web site that sells horses that have been rescued( cant remember the name but there's a link to it on Craig's list). these horses need a lot of love and attention, but will be much cheaper than most other horses
  9. The cheapest horse that i have bought was $10,000. You could probably get an older horse 18+ for cheaper though around $1,000 - $3,000
