Equine Assisted Therapy Knowledge Base
Benefits of Equine Assisted Therapy for ADHD kids? Can anyone out there give me some feedback on Equine Assisted Therapy and ADHD kids with anger issues? I've read this therapy is doing wonderful things for many children with different physical and mental disabilities and many Occupational Therapists as well as Psychologists are recommending it for their patients.
equine assisted therapy? hello everyone. i have just started my own riding therapy company where i live and it's running very well. after doing all my training in germany it's great to finally be able to work. the only thing which is causing me a bit of a headache is i need to write progress reports. now i know what i should put in it but i am not sure how to go about it. i would love to just have a look at some of your forms or reports you use as riding therapists as well to get a better overview, what has to be in, what i might not even have thought of. if you could show me a template or so i would be very grateful. thanks u
is there anyone out there willing to provide grant writing services to a non-profit that is just starting up? I am in the process of starting a special needs riding facility in Montana. I am looking for grantwriters and other volunteers to help me in this. My facility will help children and adults with different abilities by providing equine assisted therapies. We will be located in the Missoula, Montana area and are hoping to purchase the land and build the facility over the next year so that we can have a grand opening/fundraiser either in early fall (07) or first thing in 2008. This facility will be a 501(c)(3) non-profit, endeavor. So if there is anyone out there who has good advice, suggestions or would like to volunteer in any capacity, please respond to this. Feel free to visit my website at: www.oldwestcurlyhorses.com Thank you!
what to do with my 22 yr. old mare with heaves? i can't take care of her anymore and don't want her to go for slaughter because of her condition. the heaves are easily managed, and i will ensure she finds the best home, but who do you think would want her? an equine assisted therapy facility or maybe she could be used as a babysitter? tell me what you think. thanks. she's not suffering! she has the human equivalent of asthma!!
